Toy Design Week: A Collaboration of Dweey & TOA One Art Club
“Dweey +” is a corporate social responsibility project of Toy Minister and
it serves as an entry level for young designers/ students to understand the toy design world.

I: Talk
Topic: “I’m a Future Toy Designer”| Toy Design, from Creation, Production to Marketing
Speaker: Mr. Luk Chee Chew, Toy Designer of Dweey/ Design Director of Fusionwave

II: Workshop
Dweey Toy Custom Workshop
Date: 16 Oct (Sat)
Venue: The One Gallery, The One Academy
Time: 1pm – 4pm
Fee: RM40 (Inclusive of Dweey custom toy/ Finish product shot)
All artworks produce in workshop will be exhibited in the Exhibition and future “Dweey +” events
Opened to students from all major, limited to 30 pax

III: Exhibition Opening

Opened to everyone! Light refreshment will be served!

1. Who is Toy Minister?
Toy Minister is a toy design and production company that creates and produces unique, lifestyle design-oriented products.
TM is run by Luk Chee Chew, design director of Fusionwave, www.fusionwave.net.my, who was also our ex-colleague.
2. What is Dweey?
Dweey is a brand created by Luk Chee Chew from Fusionwave, 2005.
The brand started from a little cartoon character and slowly turns into a designer vinyl toy design company.

3. What is the Talk all about?
Designers talk about making toy or own design item, but many don’t find the right way.
The sharing session talks about “Toy-business” from Creation, Production to Marketing/ Branding.
Luk is one of the very rare Malaysia designer who make it out on the market. Definitely very helpful to our students.
4. What is Dweey Toy Custom Workshop?If you have bundles of creativity and artistic flair waiting to be unleashed, look no further than the Dweey Toy Custom Workshop!
This fun initiative aims to give artists, designers or just art lovers from all walks of life the chance to express their individuality on a Dweey.
